The principal film dubbing mixer at ITV from its inception in 1955 to his own retirement in 1984, Slade’s experience was forged across a wide range of programmes in that pre-digital, computer-free age. In 1980 he was BAFTA nominated for his work on the silent cinema documentary series Hollywood.
