With I Am Curious Yellow (1967), Swedish director Sjoman made one of the most infamous - and financially successful - films in history. A Godard influenced verité drama, it's sexual frankness caused a plethora of free publicity and helped push back the boundaries of cinematic sexual taboos exploited further in the 1970s.
