A versatile actor, Siro found success on stage and screen, in radio plays and TV soaps. He starred in the films Sur (1990) and Un Argentino en New York (1998) among others, while his feature credits as a director include the award-winning Nadie Oyo Gritar a Cecilio Fuentes (1965).
