A familiar face on television from the 1970s onward, Sharvell-Martin was a dependable supporting player to comedy performers such as Benny Hill, Dave Allen, Les Dawson, Mike Yarwood and Kenny Everett. In addition to their shows he appeared on stage and in popular sitcoms including No Place Like Home (1983-87).
