A British comedian who moved to Dublin as a child, Hughes was a Perrier award-winning standup known for his innovation on the British comedy circuit. On screen he was best known for his sitcom Sean’s Show (1992) and as a team captain on the panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks (1996-2002).
