An American animation producer who founded the Filmation production company in 1962, Scheimer’s most successful shows included Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (1972-1985), Star Trek (1974-1975) and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983-1985). In 2003 he was awarded an Annie Award for Special Achievement in Animation.
