A British character actor who worked with Mike Leigh on nine occasions, Kelly’s collaborations with the director spanned stage and screen from Knock For Knock (1976) to Mr. Turner (2014). He was also known for his roles as Warren in Porridge (1974-1977) and Captain Hans Geering in ‘Allo ‘Allo (1982-1991).
