A British production manager whose career began in the 1960s, Douet worked on films such as The Man Who Would Be King (1975), Local Hero (1983), The Killing Fields (1984) and Lorenzo’s Oil (1992). He also produced a number of features including Defense of the Realm (1985) and Shanghai Surprise (1986).
