A familiar face on television, Robinson was the erudite presenter of popular quiz shows Call My Bluff (1965-88) and Ask The Family (1967-84). A former newspaperman he was equally at home on radio, and fronted television programmes including BBC3 (1965-66), Robinson’s Travels (1976) and B. Traven A Mystery Solved (1978).
