An American director and animator best known for serving as the animation director on The Beatles’ musical fantasy Yellow Submarine (1968), Balser also animated the ‘Den’ segment of the cult anthology Heavy Metal (1981). His other notable credits included shows Jackson 5ive (1971-1972) and The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show (1985).
