Stuntman
2 November 1932 to 16 June 2014

One of Britain’s most prolific stuntmen, Richards came from a military background to be the unsung hero in films from The Dirty Dozen (1967) and Flash Gordon (1980) to Superman II (1980) and Total Recall (1990). He worked on seven James Bond films and recorded the highest ever stunt fall on The Princess Bride (1987), but is best known for being the Arab swordsman shot by Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).
