Reginald Turnill

A familiar face on British television, Turnill was the BBC air and space correspondent during a momentous period beginning in 1958. He reported on such events as Yuri Gagarin’s first manned space flight in 1961, the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing and the near disastrous Apollo 13 mission in 1970.
