Phyllis Diller

A rambunctious personality and sharp wit defined the appeal of Diller, who achieved her unlikely comedy ambition by becoming a household name in America in the 1950s. This led to leading roles in such films as Boy Did I Get A Wrong Number (1966) and Eight On The Lam (1967).
