Peter Sissons

A British broadcaster who was one of the nation’s most respected newsreaders, Sissons joined the BBC in 1989 to present the Six O’Clock News after earlier stints on ITN and Channel 4 News. He succeeded Sir Robin Day as presenter of Question Time (1989-1993) and read bulletins on the Nine O’Clock News before finishing his career at BBC News 24.
