An American actress who can claim a piece of Hollywood immortality as one of the ‘little people’ cast as the Munchkins in The Wizard of Oz (1939), Pellegrini played a number of roles – she was Sleepy Head in one sequence, and a flowerpot Munchkin in another – in the classic film.
