An American actress who starred in Hollywood features between 1939 and 1948, Morison was best known for her performance as Lilli Vanessi in the original 1949 Broadway production of Kiss Me Kate. Her film credits included Hitler’s Madman (1943) and Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Code (1946) before moving mostly into television.
