An Indian-born actor best known for his work with Wes Anderson, Pallana gave small but memorable performances in Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and The Darjeeling Limited (2007). His return to acting came decades after first appearing as his off-screen act, Kumar of India, on The Mickey Mouse Club (1956) and Captain Kangaroo (1961).
