Paddy Russell

A British director who became the first female floor manager at the BBC working alongside director Rudolph Cartier, Russell was best known for herself directing renowned Doctor Who (1966-1977) adventures starring William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. Her other credits included Z Cars (1967-1976) and Emmerdale Farm (1976-1980).
