Paddy Feeny

A British broadcaster who joined the BBC in 1956 as an announcer, Feeny became the voice of the BBC World Service’s flagship sports programme Saturday Special in 1959 and continued in the role through to his retirement in 1995. He also presented television shows including Top of the Form (1963-1966) and Young Scientists of the Year.
