Ned Sherrin

Author/Broadcaster/Producer
18 February 1931 to 30 September 2007

For many years a Radio 4 stalwart with Loose Ends, Sherrin’s chief claim to fame was as the man behind the groundbreakingly satirical That Was The Week That Was (1962). A theatre devotee, he also produced the movies Up The Junction (1968), The Virgin Soldiers (1969) and Up Pompeii (1971).
