Abby Mann

1 December 1927 - 25 March 2008

Writer/Director/Producer

A writer with a strong social conscience, Mann penned TV movie The Marcus-Nelson Murders (1973) which introduced audiences to the character of Kojak. Active from the 1950s, other successes include Judgment At Nuremberg (1959), which won him an Oscar when it was adapted for the big screen two years later.
