Malcolm Drury

A Scottish casting director who served as head of Yorkshire Television’s casting department for over a decade, one of Drury’s earliest projects was Laurence Olivier’s King Lear (1983). He cast a wide range of shows including The New Statesman (1987-1989), The Darling Buds of May (1991-1993) and Heartbeat (1992-2009).
