Luise Rainer

Actress
12 January 1910 to 30 December 2014

A German actress who won back to back Best Actress Oscars for The Great Ziegfeld (1936) and The Good Earth (1937), Rainer was the first performer to achieve that feat. She signed with MGM in 1934 and also starred in The Great Waltz (1938), but rarely acted thereafter, amassing just 24 screen credits.
