A British actress best known for her role as the sassy hairdresser Julie Cooper on Eastenders (1989-1990), Plowright’s other notable screen credits included Mack the Knife (1989) and Grange Hill (2005). She also appeared regularly in musicals on the West End stage, spending five years in the cast of Mamma Mia! (1999-2004).
