A familiar face to television audiences during the 1970s, Lloyd Meredith had a recurring role as Sergeant Evans in the popular police drama Softly, Softly: Task Force (1969-76). A classically trained actor with wide stage experience, he also appeared in Kenneth Branagh’s Henry V (1989) playing the Governor of Harfleur.
