A novelist and playwright whose work was frequently adapted for the big screen, Levin’s first literary success came with A Kiss Before Dying, filmed in 1956 and 1991. Other cinematic adaptations of his work include Rosemary’s Baby (1968), The Stepford Wives (1972), The Boys From Brazil (1978) and Deathtrap (1982).
