An actor best known for his role in the musical South Pacific (1958), Kerr also starred in such films as Tea and Sympathy (1956) and The Pit and the Pendulum (1961). His extensive television credits include Arrest and Trial (1963-64), Peyton Place (1965-66) and The Streets of San Francisco (1975-77).
