A British actor known for originating the role of Jimmy Porter in John Osborne’s stage play Look Back in Anger, Haigh was best known on the big screen for films including Cleopatra (1963) and Eagle in a Cage (1972). He received a BAFTA nomination for his roles in Man at the Top (1970) and The Search for the Nile (1971).
