A British actress who fond fame performing on the sketch comedy show Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In (1968-1970), Carne became known for her catchphrase, “sock it to me.” She moved to America in 1962 and appeared on shows including The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1965-1967) and I Dream of Jeannie (1966-1969).
