An American producer, talent agent and promoter, Weintraub worked with musicians such as Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan and Frank Sinatra before moving into film producing with Robert Altman’s Nashville (1975). His biggest hits included The Karate Kid (1984), the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy (2000-2007) and Behind the Candelabra (2013).
