A British actor, member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and elder brother of actress Judi Dench, Jeffery Dench began acting while attending St Peter’s in York and spent his national service years in army theatre. He joined the RSC in 1963 and appeared on television n productions including Cyrano de Bergerac (1985) and First Knight (1995).
