A British director who found success with his debut feature Anne of the Thousand Days (1969), Jarrott followed this with the similarly historic Mary, Queen of Scots (1971). Other films include the musical Lost Horizon (1973), The Dove (1974) and Disney features Escape From The Dark (1976) and Condorman (1981).
