A British assistant director whose most eye-catching credit was undoubtedly Robin Hardy’s cult horror classic The Wicker Man (1973), Wright also worked on films including Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines (1965) and 84 Charing Cross Road (1987). He also occasionally worked as a production supervisor on TV series such as Dick Turpin (1981) and Press Gang (1990-1993).
