A British broadcaster whose career began as a newsreader and presenter on local radio, Scully later worked on Radio 4 chairing programmes such as Talking About Antiques. He was best known for presenting Antiques Roadshow (1981-2000) on the BBC, and also produced television through his company, Fine Arts Productions.
