A British production designer who gained early experience at the Royal Court Theatre, Holland demonstrated his talent on diverse films, including Equus (1977), Quadrophenia (1979), Reds (1981), Greystoke: The Legend Of Tarzan, Lord Of The Apes (1984), Scandal (1989), Nuns On The Run (1990) and Swept From The Sea (1997).
