An influential figure in movie special effects, Harryhausen scored an early credit on Mighty Joe Young (1949) and built his reputation with work in The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958), The 3 Worlds of Gulliver (1960), Jason & The Argonauts (1963) and Clash of the Titans (1981) among many others.
