After distinguished war service, Greville-Bell turned his hand to a variety of pursuits, including writing screenplays. He scripted the films Perfect Friday (1970), the cult favourite Theatre Of Blood (1973) and The God King (1975) before turning his attention to fresh artistic pastures in the form of sculpture and music.
