Gil Parrondo

A Spanish production designer and set decorator, Parrondo began working in Spanish cinema in 1939 before moving to the US in the 1950s where he developed his craft on productions such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962). He won Oscars for his work on Patton (1970) and Nicholas and Alexandra (1971), and was also nominated for Travels with My Aunt (1972).
