An American custom car designer, Barris specialised in turning ordinary vehicles into spectacular automobiles for television and film studios. He created the Munster Koach for The Munsters (1964-1966), the Batmobile for Batman (1966-1968), KITT for Knight Rider (1982-1986) and customised cars for countless movies.
