Franco Rosso

A British director who began his career as an assistant editor on Kes (1969), Rosso was best known for his story of warring Reggae sound systems in South London, Babylon (1980). He was also a fearless documentarian who produced powerful social films and worked alongside musicians including John Lennon and Ian Dury.
