An Italian actor best known to American audiences for his role as Calo in The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather: Part III (1990), Citti frequently collaborated with director Pier Paolo Pasolini on films including Oepidus Rex (1967). He received a BAFTA nomination for his performance in Pasolini’s first film, Accattone (1961).
