Foy worked in the BBC's arts department for many years and was BAFTA-nominated for her work with Margot Fonteyn on The Magic of Dance (1980). She will be best remembered for persuading Fonteyn to reappear before the camera to discuss her life in The Margot Fonteyn Story (1989).
