An imposing American actor, Forrest was best known for the police series S.W.A.T. (1975-76), in which he played Lieutenant ‘Hondo’ Harrelson. He also took the title role in the ATV series The Baron (1966-67) and featured in films such as Phantom of the Rue Morgue (1954) and Flaming Star (1960).
