Stanley Forman
26 December 1921 - 7 February 2013
Director, Producer, Distributor
An important figure in British left wing cinema, Forman became politicised in the 1930s and after distinguished war service helped establish Plato Films which promoted the work of the British Soviet Friendship Society.
