A long-serving industry executive, Finkelstein served as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Universal Pictures, where had he held various roles since joining the studio in 1999. He previously worked at De Laurentiis Entertainment Group, Nelson Films, and Polygram Filmed Entertainment, which he helped integrate into Universal Studios.
