Ennio Morricone

An Italian composer who was one of the most acclaimed and recognisable writers of movie music, Morricone scored the likes of The Good the Bad and the Ugly (1966) and Once Upon a Time in the West (1968). He won BAFTAs for his work on Days of Heaven (1978), Once Upon a Time in America (1984), The Mission (1986), The Untouchables (1987), Cinema Paradiso (1988) and The Hateful Eight (1988).
