Duncan Dallas

26 October 1940 to 10 April 2014

A British television producer best known outside the industry for founding Café Scientifique, Dallas began his career in the documentary unit at Yorkshire Television in 1968 before later being appointed the company’s first head of science output. He produced the BAFTA-nominated It Never Seemed To Rain (1969) and Awakenings (1973) before leaving to run his own production company, XYTV.
