A British composer best known for his work on Doctor Who (1964-1980), Simpson created the incidental music for almost 300 episodes of the show. He also composed a number of memorable themes for shows including The Brothers (1972-1976), The Tomorrow People (1973-1979) and Blake’s 7 (1978-1981).
