A former radio actress and producer with the BBC Hindi Service, Dubé later moved into television production, making documentaries and working as script editor on high quality dramas such as The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970). But her proudest achievement was in co-producing Richard Attenborough’s BAFTA winning Gandhi (1982).
