Diana Serra Cary

An American actress known as ‘Baby Peggy’ who found fame as a toddler after appearing in films including Playmates (1921), Cary’s fame lasted five years until a disagreement between her father and producers led to her contract being cancelled. She went on to become a writer, film historian and activist who campaigned to improve the pay and working conditions of child stars.
